Terminology Explanation                                             
Recipient A woman who receives eggs or embryos during treatment to help her to become pregnant.
Recombinant DNA DNA that has been modified so that it contains genes from two different sources. Recombinant technology is often used to produce highly pure therapeutic drugs
Rubella or German Measles:- is a viral infection characterised by a rash, sore throat and mild fever. Often, it can pass unnoticed. However, if infection is contracted in early pregnancy the virus can cause devastating congenital abnormalities in the foetus, including heart, brain, liver damage, deafness and blindness.
